LANSING – The Citizens Utility Board of Michigan (CUB of MI) today applauded Attorney General Dana Nessel for standing up for Upper Peninsula energy customers by opposing Upper Peninsula Power Company’s (UPPCO) nearly $10 million proposed rate increase.
“We applaud Attorney General Dana Nessel for standing up for customers in the Upper Peninsula and opposing UPPCO’s exorbitant rate hike,” said Amy Bandyk, executive director of CUB of MI. “We are encouraged that reining in rising electricity costs is a priority for Attorney General Nessel, and we look forward to working with her to ensure all Michiganders have affordable, reliable electricity.”
